The hotel was situated down a quiet side street. There is no parking, but a very tight space was avaliable nearby at the Alphonso underground car park for 13e per night. Our room had been recently painted and refurbished with minimalist Ikea furniture. Both room and bathroom were clean and contained everything we needed for our stay.The receptionist was polite and helpful when we checked in and out, and provided information about our location in relation to other local sights. The only negative comment I could make is that the rooms appear to have very little soundproofing, so if you have noisy neighbours then you will hear almost every word. Also the laminate flooring is not good if the people upstairs walk around in their shoes all night!!!!!These things aside the hotel offered excellent value for money and we would certainly stay there again.
